I was always a “next step” kind of guy. I like planning, then executing. Moving from one thing to the next, always having something lined up.
But with my next race two months away, I don’t really know what comes after.
There are things I’d like to do. Not small ones either.
I’d love to finish what I started in 2020 and bike from Nadlac to Constanta via Transfagarasan. I’d love to do PTL. Pirin. Creasta Fagarasului. There’s no shortage of ideas.
If anything, that’s the problem.
At some point you realize you can do almost anything – but not everything.
And that’s a hard pill to swallow.
Because it’s not about settling for less. It never was.
It’s about choosing where your time goes. What gets your energy. What gets left behind.
Lately, that choice feels less like ambition and more like allocation.
And I’m still figuring it out.
